The Picto-Selector download is free. Installation is very easy.
The first start
When you start Picto-Selector for the first time you will be asked where the database should be stored and to create a user. This makes it easy to work with multiple people locally or on a network.
The next time Picto-Selector will remember the last logged in user.
From time to time you will be asked to check for updates. This will ensure that you have the latest version and picto library. You can always manually check for updates in the Help menu.

Mac OS (Intel Processor) New option
Mac OS including Catalina and newer. This is the most reliable method for using Picto-Selector on a Mac.

This version of Picto-Selector wil not work on MacOS 10.15 Catalina and later!!
After download unzip the application and copy the application to your application folder.
Installation can take a very long time, there are over 30000 files in the application and those are all checked with the new protection methods. There are a few things that can give trouble. I have created a page on the website about this
Black and white Arasaac symbols (optional)
Most of the symbols of Arasaac are also available as black/white. While this option is still available, there is not really a need for it because the pictosheet of icons can be used in grey-scale.
Installation
Start Picto-Selector and log in as administrator.
Click on the menu “Settings” and activate the “Advanced User” entry.
Save the downloaded file to a location on your harddisk and use the “File” > “Import Symbols Set Package” to add the images to Picto-Selector library.

Spanish sign language pictos (optional)
There is a large library with Spanish sign language pictos available to use with Picto-Selector
These pictos are only usable for users who can understand Spanish and want to use the pictos within Picto-Selector.
Installation
